Here we see what % each team is better or worse than average on offense and defense.

So Caps are 1.15% better than average on offense and 17% better than average on defense. To use this data to predict score of game take 2.75*1.05*Home offense*Road defense for Home team goals and 2.75*(1/1.05)*Home defense*Away offense for away team goals.
