NFL Ratings Oct 16,2012

The upsets last week really scrambled the ratings. De Bears are #1, probably because they did not play last week. Giants and Packers bigwins really scrambled things.

I have been playing around with this model myself - what would be interesting would be if luck based things like defensive TDs and kick returns were eliminated from every score and the teams ranked that way. CHI would definitely come down a good bit since they have 4 of those types of TDs in 5 games.

  2. I should consider that but since I am predicting points for and against I only care that a team scores, not how they score
