It’s good to know this as by following the book, and adding a lambda value (slightly tweaked) as suggested (and a slight tweak for the playoffs) I came out with 28.7 to 24.8 so I know I’m in the right ballpark. Out of interest what was your Standard Deviation on your Predicated Margin of Victory for the season?

No I just think playoffs are mor impt. I think bookies must be doing something like this

When adding the lambda value suggested in the book, it made about a one point adjustment on my table (approx.5 to approx.4).
