NFL Ratings December 23

Hi Wayne:
I’m currently reading your book Mathletics and I was wondering if your NFL ratings are based on chapter 40 in your book, what the colors mean in the graft, and do you think making a second chart based on the past 5 weeks performance would be more accurate. The Giants are a team that is a poor performer early in the season, get hot, and win super bowls. I look at your chart and wonder if Seattle falls into that get hot later category after the first 5 weeks suffering from their Super Bowl hang over and injuries. Should the chart be more current?
Thanks Wayne
Happy holidays
Ken

Green is good. red is bad. Ratings as based on chapter 40 with a “regularization” constraint to damp down the ratings. I could do last 5 weeks, but throwing about data does not seem to improve forecast accuracy
