Are these based on whole season or just last xx days?
Also do you adjust for (dis)advantages from rest days and home vs. away?

whole season. I may change that. I adjust for home and away but not for rest.

Thank you for your additional insight.
From your experience in this, do you think rest (esp where teams have a net 1/2 days rest +increment vs. their opponent) has a material impact?
Also if you were to change it from season to a xx days calculation, how many days would you choose, i.e. to minimize sample error etc?
